Fabrication Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Steel Fabrication Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication activities, supervise workers, and ensure that steel fabrication work is completed safely, accurately, and according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate daily steel fabrication activities in the workshop.

* Allocate tasks to fabricators, welders, fitters, and other workshop workers.

* Read and understand fabrication drawings, measurements, and specifications.

* Ensure fabrication work is carried out according to approved drawings and project requirements.

* Monitor cutting, bending, fitting, welding, grinding, and assembly activities.

* Check dimensions, alignment, levels, and overall quality of fabricated steel structures.

* Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other departments regarding fabrication requirements.

* Monitor daily production and ensure work is completed within the required schedule.

* Identify fabrication issues and coordinate corrective actions.

* Ensure proper use and maintenance of fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment.

* Maintain proper housekeeping and organization within the fabrication workshop.

* Ensure workers follow company safety procedures and use required PPE.

* Monitor material usage and minimize unnecessary wastage.

* Maintain daily production records and report progress to management.

* Train and guide workers on proper fabrication methods and safe working practices.

Requirements

* 2–5 years of experience in steel fabrication supervision.

* UAE experience in steel fabrication/construction is preferred.

* Good knowledge of steel fabrication processes and workshop operations.

* Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.

* Knowledge of welding, cutting, fitting, grinding, and steel assembly.

* Good manpower coordination and leadership skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

* Good communication and problem-solving skills.

* Knowledge of workplace safety and PPE requirements.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with structural steel, prefab structures, containers, or modular buildings.

* Knowledge of measurements and basic quantity calculations.

* Ability to coordinate multiple fabrication activities simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
