Fabricator / Assembler

Location: Brendale QLD 4500 | Employment type: Full-time or part-time

EDCR Pty Ltd is seeking a practical and reliable Fabricator / Assembler to join our manufacturing team. We manufacture Canterbury and Outlaw clay target machines and are looking for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, durable, high-quality equipment.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will fabricate components and assemble clay target machines and related equipment. You will work from drawings and instructions, use workshop tools and machinery, and complete quality checks to ensure finished products meet our standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Fabricate metal components using workshop tools and machinery.

· Assemble mechanical parts and complete clay target machines.

· Read and follow technical drawings, measurements and work instructions.

· Carry out drilling, cutting, grinding, fitting and general workshop tasks.

· Inspect completed work and identify or correct quality issues.

· Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.

· Work cooperatively with the team to meet production requirements.

About You

· Previous experience in fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or a similar trade-based role is required

· Ability to use hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely.

· Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

· Ability to read drawings, follow instructions and work accurately.

· Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Welding experience essential

· A current driver's licence is required
