Fabricator

About the role

Working as part of our fabrication team, you will be involved in the manufacture and installation of a wide range of custom architectural projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship and enjoys producing quality custom work.

Key responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of mild steel
• TIG welding aluminium
• TIG welding stainless steel
• MIG welding
• Fabrication of custom steel stairs and stair components
• Aluminium fencing and gate fabrication
• Stainless steel fabrication and finishing
• Balustrades, handrails and structural steel
• Reading and interpreting workshop and fabrication drawings
• Accurately measuring, marking and fabricating components

About you

• Previous experience as a Boilermaker, Metal Fabricator or similar trade
• Proven fabrication and welding experience
• Experience with steel stair fabrication highly regarded
• TIG welding experience
• Strong MIG welding skills
• Ability to read and work accurately from fabrication drawings
• Good understanding of measurements, angles and fabrication processes
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Current driver's licence
• Current forklift licence
