Fabricator

Fabricator: We are a Manufacturer of large steel fabrications and is in need for a experienced metal fabricator. Responsibilities include the ability to read and interpret drawings and create production fixtures for building multiple weldments. Strong math skills and excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Need knowledge of metal working machines, measuring devices, understanding GMAW machines, proper positioning of welding and weld configurations, and accommodating for dimensional tolerances. Be able to lead and train small groups to run fixtures built. Ability to check parts to customer specification. Should have good knowledge of AWS weld notations and GD&T. Should possess good leadership and communication skills. Positive work ethics and reliable attendance is a must. Knowledge of automotive carriers and conveyors a plus. Must have rolling toolbox and basic Fabrication tools.

• 8-to-10-hour shifts
• 12 hours as necessary
• Weekends as necessary

• Farmington, MI 48336: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Welding: 5 years (Preferred)
• Fabrication: 5 years
