Header: Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw metal materials into precise, high-quality components and assemblies through various fabrication processes. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet strict quality standards, safety protocols, and technical specifications. Header: Duties

• Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
• Measure and mark metal materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and measuring instruments.
• Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal materials utilizing plasma cutters, press brake machines, and hand tools.
• Perform welding operations including MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) according to AWS standards.
• Operate rigging equipment for lifting and positioning heavy metal components safely during fabrication processes.
• Thread pipes, fabricate ductwork, or perform machining tasks as needed for project completion.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while handling power tools, gas metal arc welding equipment, and other fabrication machinery to maintain a safe work environment.

Header: Requirements

• Proven construction site experience or background in metal fabrication environments.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments effectively.
• Skilled in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, with knowledge of AWS standards and ASME codes & standards.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, pipe threading, plasma cutting, press brake operation, and ductwork fabrication preferred.
• Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding operations, rigging, machining, and handling metal materials.
• Mechanical blueprint interpretation skills combined with basic math skills necessary for precise fabrication work.

Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
