Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW Brace Manufacturing is seeking a Level 1 Fabricator. The fabricator supports daily manufacturing work schedules, meeting all goals of safety, quality, and delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Day to day functions):

• Deburr, grind, sand, and finish metal parts to drawing and work order requirements.
• Assist with laser cutting, press brake operations, and other fabrication equipment as trained.
• Perform basic drilling, hardware installation, and mechanical assembly.
• Read basic drawings and follow work instructions.
• Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to check parts.
• Identify materials and maintain part identification throughout production.
• Inspect your work and report defects or questions before parts move to the next operation.
• Record job progress and production information accurately.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work with others and accept feedback.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move materials safely, with reasonable accommodation as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
