Fabricator / Machine Technician

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Machining NC II Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional machine tools to fabricate, repair, and modify high-precision metal components. The ideal candidate must hold a valid TESDA Machining NC II certification and demonstrate a strong ability to work from technical blueprints with minimal supervision.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Setup and operate conventional lathe, milling, and surface grinding machines safely and efficiently.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and charts to determine part dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences.
• Fabrication & Precision Work: Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, slotting, and gear milling operations based on job order specifications.
• Quality Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators) to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet strict quality tolerances.
• Bench Work & Assembly: Perform manual bench activities such as layout, filing, drilling, and tapping to fit machined parts together.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine machine maintenance, keep equipment clean, and strictly follow 5S and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Certification: Must possess a valid TESDA Machining NC II Certificate.
• Experience: At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a conventional machine shop or manufacturing plant.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in operating manual lathes and milling machines. Ability to use measuring tools with high accuracy.
• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, a strong team player, and capable of working under tight production schedules.
• Willing to be assigned at Comglasco Warehouse (located at Brgy. Tanyag, Taguig City)
