Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator/Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components, fitting structures, and ensuring precise assembly according to specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team on diverse projects that require technical expertise and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
• Perform MIG welding and Arc welding techniques to join metal components securely.
• Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Fabricate metal components with precision for various structural applications.
• Conduct assembly of fabricated parts, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication and fitting roles within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, Arc welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques and assembly processes.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards in all tasks performed.
• Own PPE - Welding mask, Boots
• Own Tools - basic fabrication tools
• Driving Licence - Essential
