We're looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder who enjoys building things from the ground up, solving fabrication challenges, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Position Summary

As a Fabricator/Welder, you'll fabricate, fit, weld, and assemble custom components from engineering drawings. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols
• Layout, fit, fabricate, and weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, and other shop equipment
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of custom and production projects
• Verify dimensions and ensure assemblies meet print specifications
• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Inspect finished weldments to ensure they meet Die Craft's quality standards

Qualifications

Required

• 3–5+ years of fabrication and welding experience
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
• Proficiency with MIG welding
• Experience using common fabrication equipment and measuring tools
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Preferred

• TIG welding experience
• Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum
• Experience building fixtures, weldments, or custom fabrications
• Forklift and overhead crane experience

• Overtime available as needed
