Fabricator/Welder

Able Metal Products are one of Auckland's most well recognised suppliers of metal work to the construction industry, undertaking a variety of work ranging from heavy structural steel to highly decorative work requiring a flawless finish. We are now looking to recruit a skilled fabricator/welder to join our team due to an increased workload.

As the Fabricator/Welder, you will be based in our workshop and working alongside our skilled team, working in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. You will also be visiting site to measure, deliver and instal, so really seeing every project from start to finish

You will ideally need to be trade certified and confident with all aspects of fabrication and welding. You will also have sound knowledge of New Zealand Health & Safety protocols.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least 3 years experience welding structural steel and other components
• Ideally be trade certified and hold a site safe certificate
• Be able to read drawings and finish work to a high standard
• Be confident, proactive and hard working
• Be a confident communicator, and be able to follow and give clear instructions
