Fabricator/Welder

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling structural and bespoke metal components to create high-quality products including balconies, balustrades, railings and staircases. This position requires experience in MIG and ideally TIG welding.

Role Includes:

• Perform various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG, to join metal components in both mild steel and stainless steel
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings to determine project specifications
• Mark out / tack weld for checking prior to complete welding
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products are produced to accurate work with no defects
• Understanding and willingness to operate a spray booth for metal primer painting
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
• Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
• Operate safety equipment and use safe working habits at all times
• Knowledge of guillotine machine would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
• Other duties appropriate to the level of this role
