End-to-End Operational Process Flow & Core Responsibilities

A. Pre-Installation Survey & As-Built Verification

·         Grid Line & Datum Establishment: Transfer and verify main gridlines, centerlines, and benchmark elevations (FFL/SSL) from the main contractor to establish primary control points for the facade system.

·         Civil Structure As-Built Mapping: Perform comprehensive 3D dimensional surveys of cast-in-place concrete, steel beams, slab edges, and structural openings. Reconcile actual civil construction tolerances against approved architectural shop drawings.

·         Deviation Reporting & CAD Coordination: Identify out-of-plumb walls, slab edge variances, or structural obstructions early. Produce detailed as-built survey drawings and coordinate with CAD draftspersons to adjust embedded plate/bracket details before factory fabrication.

B. Bracket Setting & Facade Erection Layout Control

·         Bracket & Anchor Setting Control: Mark precise location layout points on concrete/steel structures for embedded plates, anchor bolts, and bracket supports for unitized/stick curtain wall systems and Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP).

·         Vertical Plumbness & Level Alignment Checks: Monitor structural alignment during bracket installation, mullion erection, and unitized glass panel hanging. Ensure strict compliance with structural verticality, horizontal levelness, and joint gap tolerances.

·         3D Scanning & Point Cloud Processing: Operate 3D laser scanners and total stations to capture point cloud data for complex curved, inclined, or double-skin glass/aluminum facades.

C. Post-Installation Verification & Handover Documentation

·         Final As-Built Survey Documentation: Conduct post-installation survey checks on installed curtain wall profiles, glass units, and cladding panels. Generate final as-built drawings for consultant approval and main contractor turnover.

·         Instrument Calibration & Survey Records: Maintain, calibrate, and care for all optical and digital surveying instruments (Total Station, Digital Level, Laser Distance Meters). Keep complete, auditable field survey books and log files.
