Facade Cleaning Technician

Job Objective

To perform high-rise facade cleaning and maintenance using industrial rope access techniques while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-rise facade cleaning and maintenance, including external glass panels, windows and building surfaces.
• Use industrial rope access techniques to access and clean building exteriors.
• Inspect and properly use rope access equipment, PPE, ropes, anchor systems and related safety equipment.
• Assist with rooftop anchor point setup and rope system installation before work commences, subject to training and authorisation.
• Work closely with supervisors and rope access team members to complete cleaning activities safely and efficiently.
• Comply with all work-at-height safety procedures, site regulations and client requirements.
• Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions and building defects to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper housekeeping after work completion.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Must possess a valid IRATA Rope Access Technician certification (Level 1 or above), subject to the client's requirements.
• Experience in high-rise facade cleaning or industrial rope access work is preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team.
• Willing to work at assigned project sites and perform duties as required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
