Façade Design Manager

• Develop façade concepts, panelisation strategies, fixing details and secondary-steel support systems.
• Lead BIM modelling and coordination using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications and calculations.
• Coordinate façade panels, steel framing, brackets, fixings, insulation, waterproofing and building interfaces.
• Guide façade engineers, BIM modelers, draftsmen and design coordinators on technical matters.
• Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, BIM models and steel details before submission or production.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, production, project and site teams.
• Resolve design clashes, constructability issues and site technical problems.
• Support value engineering to reduce panel complexity, steel weight, mould cost and installation difficulty.
• Monitor design progress, approvals, technical submissions and project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved calculations and relevant standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Façade Engineering, Structural Engineering, BIM or Construction Management is preferred.
• Professional engineering registration or membership in a recognized engineering institution is an advantage.
• BIM, Revit or façade-engineering certifications are preferred.
