Facade Designer

Create aluminium profiles, hardware & accessories, and system assemblies

Prepare system manuals, technical documentation, and standard drawings

Coordinate and perform engineering analysis (wind load, structural integrity, thermal and acoustic performance, air/water tightness)

Coordinate with extrusion, die development, testing labs, and production teams

Manage prototype development, mock-ups, and system validation testing

Ensure compliance with international standards (EN, ASTM) and local authority regulations

Conduct value engineering and cost optimization while maintaining performance and quality

Support project teams with technical guidance and system implementation

Troubleshoot and resolve design, fabrication, and site-related technical issues

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience in fa ade system design, product development and system standardization

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM tools (Revit) is an advantage

Proven experience in aluminium and glazing system development with system houses or fa ade product manufacturers

Familiarity with UAE/GCC building codes and authority requirements and knowledge in fabrication, and installation processes etc
