Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Façade Designer to join our team in Al Quoz, Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and developing technical drawings for aluminium, façade, glazing, curtain wall, doors, windows, and architectural systems.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in façade design and shop drawings, with strong knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to coordinate effectively with project, engineering, production, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and installation details for façade and aluminium systems.
• Develop drawings for curtain walls, aluminium façades, glazing, doors, windows, cladding, and architectural metal works.
• Review architectural and structural drawings and identify design requirements.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and technical drawings as required.
• Coordinate with project engineers, production teams, site engineers, and other departments.
• Incorporate client and consultant comments into drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with approved project specifications and technical requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with fabrication and site installation requirements.
• Assist in resolving design and technical issues during fabrication and installation.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate and completed within project deadlines.
• Provide technical support to the project team when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in façade, aluminium, glazing, or architectural systems design.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in façade shop drawings and technical detailing.

• Advanced AutoCAD skills are mandatory.
• Knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, Inventor, or other design software is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of fabrication and installation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience working for façade contractors, aluminium fabricators, glazing companies, architectural systems providers, or construction companies will be preferred.

Experience with commercial, residential, hospitality, high-rise, or large-scale façade projects will be an advantage.
