Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Faade Draftsman / Designer with 35 years of relevant experience in faade design, aluminium systems, curtain walls, glazing, ACP cladding and architectural metal works.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings and technical documentation while coordinating with architects, consultants, engineers, production and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed faade shop drawings, fabrication drawings and installation drawings.
• Develop technical details for aluminium, glazing, ACP, unitized and semi-unitized faade systems.
• Prepare GA drawings, sections, elevations, connection details and interface details.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers and project teams for drawing approvals.
• Review tender drawings, specifications and identify technical discrepancies or design conflicts.
• Prepare cutting lists, material schedules and fabrication details.
• Coordinate with structural and faade engineers for required design inputs.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, approved systems and applicable standards.
• Incorporate consultant/client comments and issue revised drawings within project timelines.
• Prepare as-built drawings and final project documentation.
• Provide technical support to production and fabrication teams.
• Participate in design coordination and project meetings.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records and document control.
• Optimize material usage through accurate and efficient detailing.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.

Software Requirements

• AutoCAD – Mandatory
• SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor / Revit – Preferred
• MS Office

Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Faade Draftsman, Faade Designer, Faade Detailer or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD and faade detailing.
• Good understanding of faade systems, aluminium profiles, glazing, ACP and curtain wall details.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and tender drawings.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings and installation details.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work within project deadlines and handle drawing revisions efficiently.
