Shifts Available

• 1st: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Do you enjoy precision work with hand and power tools? Can you read a blueprint and turn it into a finished assembly? Are you energized by fast-paced production and team wins? If yes, you might be a great fit for New Hudson Facades.

What you’ll do

• Build curtain wall subassemblies and complete unit frames using manual, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Use assembly drawings/specs to verify components and layout before and during build.
• Install insulation, then manually apply and tool silicone weather seals.
• Glaze assembled units using pneumatic silicone application equipment.
• Measure final dimensions with a tape measure and confirm against drawings.
• Remove finished units from the line; stage for storage or shipment.
• Escalate any component/drawing mismatches to line supervision.

Safety and standards

• Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
• Immediately report accidents, unsafe conditions, or unsafe practices to supervisors.
• Keep your area clean and organized; return tools and equipment to designated storage at shift end.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors/management.

Skills you’ll use here

• Stand for an 8-hour shift and perform repetitive lifting.

• Rotate through multiple assembly positions; adapt quickly to different tasks.

• Operate common shop tools, including:

• Drills

• Impact drivers

• Cutting tools

• Reciprocating saws

• Pneumatic nailers

• Read and interpret assembly drawings (blueprints).

• Preferred: operate material hoists and vacuum lifting equipment.

Education & background

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or similar work is a plus.
