  • Support children's cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical development.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, clean, and well-organized classroom.
  • Manage classroom routines and promote positive behaviour using the Positive Behavior Support System (PBSS).
  • Conduct baseline, ongoing, and endline assessments to monitor children's developmental progress and school readiness.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, learning materials, and individual developmental portfolios.
  • Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support to help every child progress.
  • Maintain student records, attendance, progress reports, and classroom documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, attendance, hygiene, and learning needs.
  • Collaborate with the Co-Teacher, Program Lead, academic team, and Mental Health & Wellbeing (MHW) team.
  • Follow child safeguarding policies, organizational procedures, and professional standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education (ECE), Psychology, or a relevant field.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in preschool, early childhood education, or a similar learning environment.
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, emotional maturity, and a child-centered approach.
  • Ability to plan learning activities, assess children's development, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Commitment to child safeguarding, inclusion, and positive behaviour management.
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing near Lyari or surrounding areas.
