Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Facilities & Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, repairs, and groundskeeping duties to ensure a well-maintained environment that supports operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building interior systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and mechanical components.
• Conduct repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Maintain facilities equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical panels, plumbing systems, and HVAC units to ensure optimal operation.
• Carry out building interior maintenance tasks including painting (residential or maintenance painting), carpentry, and drywall repairs to uphold aesthetic standards.
• Manage groundskeeping duties such as landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and outdoor cleaning to keep exterior areas safe and attractive.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management with professionalism and customer service-oriented communication.
• Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and schematics to identify electrical faults or mechanical failures for swift resolution.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during larger repair projects or renovations when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with facilities maintenance including electrical work, plumbing system repair, HVAC system troubleshooting, and general building upkeep.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on skills in welding, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, hand tools, power tools, and maintenance painting techniques.
• Ability to read technical diagrams such as schematics for electrical or mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of facilities equipment maintenance procedures aligned with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices.
• Experience with HVAC systems repair and building interior maintenance is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English coupled with customer service orientation to effectively interact with team members and visitors.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus but not required.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
