Facilities Associate (Housekeeping)

About the role

Phoenagon Trading Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Associate (Housekeeping) to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. As a Facilities Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our workspace remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff members and visitors. This role is essential to our operations, as a well-maintained facility directly contributes to employee productivity, safety, and overall workplace satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of all facility areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with company policies and industry best practices
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in an environmentally responsible manner
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and other consumables as required
• Clean and maintain windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors throughout the facility
• Perform floor cleaning and maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing as appropriate
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management promptly
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company housekeeping standards
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and meet cleaning schedules
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of employees and visitors at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning services, or facilities maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and capability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Familiarity with health and safety protocols in cleaning and facilities management
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
• Polite and professional demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning methods and technologies
• Basic communication skills in English and/or Filipino
