Facilities Associate/Post Room Operative

Based At: Swallowfield One, Oldbury, B69 2AG

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Hours of Work Monday – Friday, 40 hours / week, 07:30am and 16:30pm.

Purpose of Job

To assist in delivering mail room services and Facilities duties to the client.

Key Responsibilities

1 Sorting all external delivered mail i.e. Royal Mail and courier deliveries

2 Delivering and collecting mail to and from departments on site

3 Scanning of mail and sending to departments

4 Keep records of all incoming and outgoing mail for audit purposes

5 Operating post room equipment i.e. scales, franking machines and reporting faults as necessary

6 Contractor management with sub-contractors

7 Order and distribute stationery to site as required

8 Collection and safe storage of confidential waste onsite

9 Completing reactive porter duties onsite

10 Assist the Management team with ad hoc requests

11 Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.

12 Building good relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

13 Assist with Front of House operations and any cover requirements.

14 Utilise CBRE systems for logging of jobs with helpdesk via CAFM system and ensure Health and Safety compliance.

Accountabilities

The position is based in Oldbury and you will formally report to the Facilities Manager based on site.

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
