Facilities Care Technician

Job Overview

The primary focus for the FBCSR Facilities Care Technician is the overall care, cleaning, and set-up for events and activities of First Baptist Church, South Richmond. This includes FBCSR activities held at both the Hull Street and the Ironbridge campuses of our church. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours are required.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive the schedule of upcoming FBCSR ministry events/activities from the Business Office regarding and ensure that facilities are open and available for ministry leaders as needed.
• Provide custodial services for all church-wide events, services, and activities.
• Provide parking lot coordination for FBCSR church-wide and special events.
• Have all rooms cleaned, set-up, and prepared as needed and requested for FBCSR ministry activities.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning and janitorial responsibilities as assigned.
• Set-up rooms (chairs, tables, etc.) according to room diagrams provided.
• Ensure that all toiletries are properly stocked and supplied for each night’s/weekend’s events.
• Pick-up janitorial supplies that have been ordered and arranged by the Business Office.
• Assist ministry leaders as needed with room arrangements and ministry-related items.

Sunday (1st, 3rd, & 5th): 7:00am – 1:00pm 6 hrs.

Sunday (2nd) 7:00am – 3:00pm 8 hrs.

Tuesday: 12:00n – 9:00pm 9 hrs.

Wednesday (1st & 3rd): 5:30pm – 8:30pm 3 hrs.

Thursday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm 6 hrs.

Friday: 10:00am – 2:00pm 4 hrs.

Saturday (3rd) 8:00a – 3:00p 7 hrs.

Thursday: 9:00am – 3:00pm 6 hrs.

Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm 7 hrs.

Saturday (1st) 8:00am – 3:00pm 7 hrs.

*Deliveries are to be made to the HS location.

**Additional hours permitted to open the IB location for facilities related vendors.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
