Facilities Cleaner

We are currently looking to recruit a Facilities Cleaners for our site in Derby DE742BF- DHL Kegworth. This position will be on a 3 month rolling contract.

Position available:

Monday - Friday 12:30 -20:00 37.5 hours a week

The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out manual cleaning of the site.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring the office are thoroughly cleaned each shift to a high standard
• Cleaning of staff facilities such as the canteen and toilets
• Replenish any consumables required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
• Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
• Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying of waste bins
• Dusting and wiping furniture, ledges, chairs, and skirting boards
• Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
• Report anything in need of repair or replacement
• Record all cleaning tasks as directed
• Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors, and visitors to the site

You will report to the Area Service Delivery Manager
