Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facilities. In this vital role, you will coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate smoothly and safely. Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of repairs and upkeep across all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures following safety regulations and industry standards.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of routine inspections for mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC systems, plumbing, and other facility infrastructure in partnership with the Executive Director.
• Complete work orders, ordering requests and maintenance logs in a timely and efficent manner.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by conducting safety audits, managing safety training programs, and maintaining accurate safety records.
• Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or renovations while managing timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and repair procedures to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead efforts to manage facilities management operations efficiently while fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electrical systems (including high voltage), HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communication purposes.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety standards.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and engineering troubleshooting procedures.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team coordination and reporting purposes.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
