Facilities Coordinator

Summary:

We are seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• General building maintenance and handyman repairs
• Preventative maintenance and routine property inspections
• Basic carpentry, repairs and minor building works
• Setting up and packing down for school events and functions
• Coordinating contractors and monitoring works on site
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous Facility Management experience in school sector
• Good communication and time management skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable, dedicated, and passionate in promoting a positive work culture.
• An ability to lead, motivate, and influence your staff members to deliver excellent results.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.

Requirements:

• Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Police Check
• Right to Work in Australia
• Starting ASAP
