Facilities Coordinator

Purpose
The Facility Coordinator will help people find their way back to God by ensuring Fair Haven Church grounds and buildings are maintained with excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● General custodial duties (including but not limited to cleaning of carpets, floors, restrooms, windows, trash).
● Manage setup and teardown of facility rooms according to the specifications of room reservations and according to the time demands of events.
● Ensure outstanding seasonal grounds maintenance including but not limited to snow removal from sidewalks, ice melt applications, landscape, etc.
● Secure the facility per established hours.
● Oversee custodial supplies procurement and maintaining proper levels of inventory.
● Establish, maintain and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for all building and grounds areas and equipment (Including GVK Café equipment).
● Coordinate safe repair of church owned or operated buildings, exterior and interior equipment including but not limited to: plumbing, sprinkling systems, parking lots, lighting, etc.
● Outsource and oversee maintenance and/or service work as needed ensuring safety throughout the entire process.
● Develop and maintain good relationships with all contractors and vendors.
● Assist in developing and administering contracts for outside service providers (ie. snow removal) with the Administrative Director.
● Operate within the budgeted custodial/facility funds.
● Serve on-call to respond to emergency situations involving the building/grounds.
● Keep record of all Fair Haven equipment, repairs, warranties, etc.
● Implements procedures for Fair Haven campus handling, storing, safekeeping, and destruction of hazardous materials.
● Oversight of maintaining MSDS System (Material Safety Data Sheets) for Fair Haven campus.

● Considerable physical activity, including walking and ability to pull, push, lift objects up to 50 pounds

Preferred Schedule
Monday- Thursday Core building hours
Friday and Saturday As needed
Sunday On rotation

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
