Facilities Engineer - Alabang (Licensed Electrical Engineer)

JOB SUMMARY:

• Support the Facilities Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of a commercial and retail property and ensure all building equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
• Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs, including the 52-week preventive maintenance schedule.
• Conduct regular inspections and monitor equipment performance, uptime, maintenance activities, and technical reports.
• Supervise and evaluate multi-skilled technicians and third-party contractors to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair works.
• Handle technical concerns and service requests from tenants and merchants and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Review and evaluate tenant construction and renovation plans, monitor fit-out activities, and ensure compliance with approved plans and safety standards.
• Oversee technical works, including testing and commissioning, contractor coordination, and building equipment maintenance.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, monitoring utility consumption, and implementing energy conservation and cost-saving measures.
• Ensure proper maintenance of technical records, equipment documentation, maintenance reports, and audit findings.
• Support safety programs, emergency preparedness drills, fire protection system maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and coordinate with Facilities Engineers to ensure efficient daily operations and continuous improvement of facilities and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineer.
• With relevant experience in facilities management, property management, building operations, or commercial/retail property maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in preventive and corrective maintenance, building equipment, and MEP systems.
• Experience in supervising technicians, coordinating contractors, and managing maintenance activities.
• Familiar with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and sanitary, fire protection, electronics, and auxiliary systems.
• Knowledge of tenant fit-out, construction and renovation plan review, testing and commissioning, and technical inspections.
• Familiarity with fire protection systems, including fire pumps, jockey pumps, FDAS, and fire alarm control panels.
• Experience in budget preparation, maintenance reporting, utility monitoring, and cost-control measures is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
• Willing to work 6 days a week, with 8 working hours per day.
