Facilities Engineer

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of building facilities, utilities, and support systems. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, reliable, and compliant working environment while supporting production and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilities Maintenance & Utilities: Manage and maintain building systems, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure reliable operations.
• System Monitoring & Repairs: Monitor HVAC, Chillers, CDA, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and utility systems; troubleshoot issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment and facility downtime.
• Project & Vendor Management: Support facility upgrades, renovations, and expansion projects while coordinating with contractors and service providers.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations; maintain operational procedures and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Licensed Engineer is an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, preventive maintenance, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Experience: Proven experience in facilities, building operations, or industrial plant maintenance, often 3–5+ years.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
