Facilities Engineer (Project Based 2 Months / start ASAP)

The Facilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems, equipment, and facilities. The role involves overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, coordinating with contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting facility improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Monitor facility performance and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers for facility-related projects and maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare maintenance reports, technical documentation, and budget forecasts.
• Support project planning, renovation, and capital improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational health and safety standards, and client requirements.
• Respond to facility emergencies and coordinate necessary corrective measures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or engineering operations.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to work on-site and respond to emergencies when required.
