Facilities Engineer / Senior Engineer (GMP)

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, GMP standards, and company policies.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing, and mechanical systems using schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs following maintenance repair procedures to optimize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Utilize engineering troubleshooting techniques with tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments to identify issues quickly and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or modifications, managing timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, asset management logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation to support GMP compliance.
• Lead efforts in managing facilities management systems (FMS), schematics review, HVAC system repair planning, and industrial maintenance operations to sustain optimal facility performance.

Experience

• Proven management experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams within a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair, HVAC system troubleshooting/repair, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing maintenance, and industrial equipment diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, CMMS platforms, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards related to industrial facilities.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English for effective team leadership and documentation purposes.
• Familiarity with maintenance management practices such as managing facilities maintenance teams, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines.

Pay: $42.71 - $46.36 per hour
