Facilities Engineering Intern

Location: Analog Devices Thailand, Amata City, Chonburi

Job Summary

The Facilities Engineering Intern will support the Facilities team in maintaining and improving utility and infrastructure systems that support semiconductor manufacturing operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in facility engineering, preventive maintenance, utility management, sustainability initiatives, and project coordination in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and efficient operation of facility systems, including electrical power distribution, HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, water supply, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Assist with routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure facility systems operate safely and reliably.
• Participate in facility improvement projects focused on operational efficiency, energy conservation, sustainability, and equipment reliability.
• Help monitor utility consumption data and prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and performance analyses.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors on equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Support compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, maintenance logs, and engineering records.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives within the Facilities organization.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Available for an internship period of at least 6-8 months ++
• Basic understanding of industrial utility systems, such as electrical systems, HVAC, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, or facility infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD or engineering software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
