Facilities Leader – Central Support Team

Overview

Celebration Church is seeking a hands-on, servant-minded Facilities Lead to provide day-to-day leadership for our Central Support Facilities team. This team serves six of our eight church campuses as well as the facilities supporting our two schools, helping ensure that our buildings, grounds, and systems are safe, functional, well-maintained, and ready to support ministry.

This is a working leadership role. The Facilities Lead will provide direction and oversight to two Central Support Facilities team members while also actively participating in maintenance, repairs, projects, inspections, and other facility needs. We are looking for someone who believes leadership means serving alongside the team—not simply assigning the work.

Duties

• Lead and work with the facilities maintenance team, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality in all operations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and other facility infrastructure.
• Oversee and conduct troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical systems.
• Manage maintenance and repair procedures in accordance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards while ensuring compliance with local codes.
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, inventory levels, and equipment history.
• Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs.
• Conduct inspections using tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues related to electrical or mechanical systems.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members through training sessions on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams.
• General mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to facilities management and industrial environments.
• Proficiency in using Google Suite applications.
• Experience managing facilities maintenance through CMMS platforms.
• Demonstrated project management skills to oversee multiple repair or upgrade projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
• Supervising experience that includes team leadership, performance management, and training staff on safety procedures and technical tasks.
• Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters; ability to perform electrical troubleshooting at both low voltage and high voltage levels.

The right person will be able to see the big picture across multiple locations, prioritize competing needs, communicate well with campus and school leadership, coordinate people and projects, and still be willing to pick up the tools and help get the job done.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
