What they need
Job Purpose
To serve as the local, on-the-ground support to the Logistics & Warehouse Manager for the Company's new Bengaluru manufacturing facility. In the initial phase, the role is responsible for helping bring the office and manufacturing facility to completion and operational readiness coordinating contractors, vendors, deliveries and statutory formalities on site. Once the facility is operational, the role transitions into day-to-day logistics, facilities and administrative support, keeping the site running efficiently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities-
PHASE 1 SET-UP & OPERATIONAL READINESS
- Act as the on-site local liaison with fit-out contractors (P-Tech and Amara Spectrum), maintaining a daily site presence, tracking progress against programme and escalating slippage to the Logistics & Warehouse Manager.
- Follow up locally on utilities, statutory connections, permits and inspections, including in-person dealings with authorities.
- Procure and take delivery of office furniture, fit-out items and consumables; receive and check machinery deliveries against purchase orders.
- Set up the office internet, telephony, utility accounts, stationery and basic infrastructure.
- Source vendors, collect quotations and run local errands (bank, registrar, GST and authority visits).
PHASE 2 — ONGOING OPERATIONS
- Support inbound and outbound logistics: raw-material receipts, dispatch coordination, courier and freight, and associated documentation (delivery challans, e-way bills, GST paperwork).
- Maintain stores and inventory administration — goods-in checks and stock records.
- Oversee facilities upkeep — housekeeping, maintenance vendors, security and utilities.
- Handle general office administration — filing and records, petty cash, and local vendor payments.
- Coordinate travel and visa logistics for visiting overseas personnel.
- Support the Logistics & Warehouse Manager with scheduling, reporting and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or graduate qualification, with 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, facilities or administration — ideally including manufacturing or plant set-up.
- Local to Bengaluru, fluent in Kannada and English (Hindi an advantage).
- Sound knowledge of the local vendor ecosystem and statutory processes (GST, e-way bills, factory and utility permits).
- Hands-on and mobile, comfortable working on an active construction / fit-out site; own transport or willing to travel to Doddaballapura.
- Proficient in MS Office; organised, proactive and dependable.
