Facilities Maintenance

About the role

Responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment and utility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of facility utilities, building systems, and support equipment.
• Conduct regular inspection and monitoring of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, water, and other utility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Maintain and monitor air compressors, pumps, generators, electrical distribution systems, HVAC/air-conditioning units, and other plant utilities.
• Perform routine inspection of electrical panels, motors, breakers, lighting systems, and control components.
• Assist in maintaining building infrastructure, including plumbing, doors, ceilings, drainage, roofing, and other facility components.
• Respond immediately to facility breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
• Implement and complete preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Record maintenance activities, breakdowns, inspections, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to address facility and equipment concerns affecting operations.

About you

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical course.
• At least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial plant.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with industrial utilities and facility equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, equipment manuals, and basic technical drawings.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of 5S, safety procedures, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with production personnel, contractors, and other departments.
