Large ongoing Facilities Maintenance position with 3-openings near Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

Job Overview

Keep our building and equipment working safely. This includes fixing machines that move packages, and taking care of electrical, electronic, air-powered, fluid-powered, and mechanical systems. You will follow the maintenance steps we already have in place.

Job Duties
You should know how to use basic tools and equipment for repairs. You must be able to lift 50 pounds and move heavy parts with help or special equipment. You need to work well with others and speak clearly. You must be able to reach equipment by crawling, lying down, standing, or climbing, sometimes high above the ground or below it.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must possess good working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment and procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy sort related components, parts and equipment with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good interpersonal and oral communications skills. Ability to access equipment by crawling, laying, standing and/or climbing at all heights both above and below ground level.

Sun-Wed 05:00-15:30,

Sun-Wed 13:00-23:30

Wed-Sat 05:00-15:30,

Wed-Sat 13:00-23:30

Tools

Multimeter. Assortment of sockets, wrenches, pliers, insulated screwdrivers etc.
