Job Summary

The Facilities & Maintenance Manager will oversee building operations, maintenance programs, and physical infrastructure to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment within a manufacturing facility. The role involves coordinating maintenance activities, supervising staff, managing vendor contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilities Maintenance & Operations: Oversee the maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems. Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure facilities comply with applicable health, safety, fire protection, and local regulatory requirements.
• Staff & Vendor Management: Supervise maintenance, facilities, and housekeeping personnel. Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Budget & Project Management: Monitor facility maintenance budgets, control operational expenses, and coordinate facility improvement, renovation, and infrastructure projects.
• Manufacturing Facility Support: Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure uninterrupted facility operations, utilities, and infrastructure availability.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or industrial facility operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial facilities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, workplace safety standards, and vendor management.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, project management, and budget-monitoring skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
