Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

Warwick Yacht & Country Club is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to help maintain our clubhouse, grounds, and facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping our club clean, safe, and operating efficiently while providing excellent support to our members and staff.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the clubhouse and surrounding facilities
• Routine maintenance and repair of club property and equipment
• Minor painting, touch-ups, and general carpentry work
• Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
• Assisting with preventative maintenance programs
• Setting up and breaking down rooms for club events and functions
• Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas, patios, walkways, and common spaces
• Monitoring facilities for safety concerns and reporting maintenance issues
• Performing seasonal maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or custodial experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of painting and general repair work required
• Plumbing experience is a plus
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor, including standing, bending, and climbing stairs
