Facilities Maintenance Technician

Overview

Entera is looking to add a Facilities Maintenance Technician to our growing team, where your expertise will keep our building and machines running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of facility systems and equipment. Your proactive approach and technical skills will directly contribute to the seamless operation of our facilities, supporting our mission to deliver excellence every day.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, manufacturing machinery and building interior components to prevent issues before they arise.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical panels, hand tools, and other mechanical components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management with a customer-focused attitude to resolve issues efficiently.
• Use proper safety protocols during all repair activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of facilities maintenance including electrical work, plumbing system repair, HVAC system troubleshooting and repair, and mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of diesel powered material handling equipment is a plus.
• Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, schematics interpretation, and maintenance painting techniques.
• Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated systems control.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience.
• Knowledge of building safety standards and compliance regulations related to electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.
