Facilities Maintenance Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facility Support

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders.
• Perform basic repairs involving doors, lighting, painting, furniture, fixtures, flooring, and minor plumbing.
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain the appearance of church buildings and grounds.

Event Support

• Set up and break down rooms for worship services and ministry events.
• Move furniture, tables, chairs, and ministry equipment.
• Assist with staging and facility preparation.

Campus Maintenance

• Remove trash and debris from exterior areas.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Monitor building cleanliness and report maintenance concerns.

Other Responsibilities

• Support the Full-Time Maintenance Technician during large projects.
• Assist during emergencies and weather events.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Operations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of maintenance, facilities, construction, or custodial experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Basic knowledge of building maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Positive customer service attitude.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent walking, bending, climbing, and standing.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.

TRAVEL

None anticipated.
