Facilities Maintenance Technician

Overview

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility while ensuring compliance with GMP regulations. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility systems, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
• Respond to facility-related work orders and repairs
• Coordinate access/support for outside contractors
• Conduct preventive maintenance schedules for facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation related to GMP facility maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
• Ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in facility modifications, renovations, and new equipment installations.
• Contributing member of safety team.
• Identify and report any facility-related deviations or non-conformances that may impact operations or compliance.
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and internal quality teams.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies for facility-related activities.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on facility maintenance and GMP compliance best practices.

Skills

• Forklift and scissor lift certified.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in facility maintenance,
• engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a GMP-regulated
• environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general
• repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking
• facility maintenance activities.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• English proficient both verbal and written, bilingual a plus
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
