Boiler Operations and Maintenance

  • Complete routine boiler maintenance, inspections, testing, and blowdowns in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate annual inspections and ensure all required certifications and licenses remain current.

General Facilities Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by supporting waste removal and service area maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues to minimize operational disruptions across multiple locations.

Inspections, Vendors, and Building Access

  • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs, inspections, and certification requirements for facility equipment and systems.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely completion of repairs and service requests.
  • Support building security and access control systems, including employee badges, door schedules, and system troubleshooting.

Operational Support

  • Receive, distribute, and organize incoming deliveries and supplies throughout the facility.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with clinic and surgery center staff to minimize impact on patient care.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and respond to urgent facility, equipment, and building maintenance needs.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC, mechanical systems, or a related trade preferred.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment, boilers, and building systems.
  • Maine Stationary Steam Engineer license and Maine Propane and Natural Gas Technician license appropriate to the assigned equipment and responsibilities.
  • Healthcare or ambulatory surgery facility maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow preventive maintenance schedules, identify equipment problems, and determine when outside service is needed.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.
  • Ability to travel between practice locations and participate in scheduled on-call coverage
