Facilities Maintenance Technician

Role and Purpose within CRSN Organizational Structure:

A Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that a company’s facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Supervision Received and Exercised:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will receive supervision from the Facilities Maintenance Manager and Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

The personnel in the role of the facilities maintenance technician will take on tasks of the following nature:

• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, outdoor recreation spaces, and patient rooms
• Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
• Executing routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
• Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
• Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as completing maintenance orders
• Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
• Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
• Collaborating with upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
• Responsible for performing tasks that are within the scope of his/her preparation, knowledge, and permitted by the policies and procedures and other local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Functions as a member of the team and assists with coordinating and providing services.
• Maintains appropriate documentation and updates on any required training.
• Responsible for documenting all required maintenance job duties.
• Maintain use of appropriate tools and supplies needed for facility work orders.
• Any other duties that the Facilities Maintenance Manager/Operations Manager requests.

Prerequisite Job Requirements:

• Computer skills;
• Communication skills**;**
• Mandatory experience in any type of maintenance facility industry

Results Expected:

• To provide the highest quality of work ethic/care to facilities, buildings, community providers, emergency response team, and persons/ agencies providing services at Crossroads of Southern Nevada.
• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas
• Teamwork is apparent, and cohesion between other departments is expected.
• Standard Operating Procedure is followed, but fluidity between shift assignments is expected.
• Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines and regulations
• Knowledge of policies and procedures
• Completes all training as required by Crossroads of Southern Nevada.
• Assistance in training new hires
• Any other duties that the Facilities Maintenance Manager/Operations Manager requests

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
