Facilities Maintenance Technician (On-site)

About the role

Hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support commercial offices and coworking spaces in Singapore. The role may be assigned to a fixed client site or provide support across a client portfolio of different sites, depending on operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general handyman work, including minor plumbing repairs, carpentry, painting, and repairs to doors, locks, furniture, fixtures and fittings.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot faults and complete repairs promptly.
• Keep clients informed of job progress and record completed work.
• Identify issues requiring specialist contractors and coordinate follow-up.
• Carry out electrical or air-conditioning maintenance within your qualifications and authorised scope.
• Maintain tools, materials and safe working practices, while minimising disruption to office occupants.
• Support other client sites when required.

About you

• Hands-on experience in general handyman or facilities maintenance work is essential.
• Electrical troubleshooting and/or air-conditioning maintenance experience will be an advantage.
• Experience maintaining offices, coworking spaces, hotels or commercial buildings is preferred.
• Able to communicate in basic English with clients and contractors.
• Able to use a smartphone to receive work requests and submit updates.
• Reliable, service-minded and able to work independently.
• Relevant technical qualifications are an advantage; applicants with strong practical experience are welcome.
