Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, safety, security, and continuous improvement of all company facilities, buildings, grounds, equipment, utilities, and support services. The position ensures that facilities operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while supporting the organization's operational goals. The Facilities Manager shall exercise leadership over maintenance personnel, contractors, service providers, and support staff, ensuring timely completion of projects, repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and facility improvement initiatives. This role requires a highly flexible, results-oriented professional capable of managing multiple priorities, leading personnel across different levels, and handling special assignments as directed by Management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all company facilities, buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, utilities, and support systems.
• Ensure the proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, and other facility systems.
• Monitor facility conditions and recommend repairs, upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain an inventory of facilities assets, equipment, tools, and infrastructure.
• Develop asset replacement and lifecycle management plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance records, warranties, permits, and facility drawings.

About you

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in facilities management, building operations, engineering, maintenance management, or related field.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience managing contractors, maintenance teams, and facility improvement projects.
