Facilities Manager
Mammoth Fieldhouse | Oklahoma City, OK
Full-Time | Exempt | Reports to Director of Operations
About Mammoth Fieldhouse
Mammoth Fieldhouse is a competitive social venue where sport, food, and community share one roof. Pure Putt. Arc Rivals. Battle Bats. Wiffle Ball. A self-pour beer wall. A scratch kitchen and a full bar built to stand on their own. Open play, leagues, tournaments, and private events, all night, every night.
Three rules run our buildings: No Sidelines, No Spectators. Elite Isn't Exclusive. Competition Is Community. Everyone plays, everyone belongs, and a good time beats a good score.
About the Role
The Facilities Manager keeps the entire venue safe, functional, clean, and ready for play. You own preventive maintenance, facility inspections, repairs, vendor coordination, and the systems that keep Mammoth Fieldhouse operating without interruption.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You spend most of your week walking the building, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, managing vendors, and ensuring every space is ready for teammates and guests. You know the difference between a repair that can wait and one that can stop the operation. When something breaks, you respond quickly, communicate clearly, and see the solution through.
Mammoth Fieldhouse Oklahoma City operates as one facility, not several departments that share an address. The kitchen, bar, self-pour beer wall, Pure Putt, Arc Rivals courts, Battle Bats cages, Wiffle Ball field, guest areas, offices, and building systems all depend on your attention and leadership.
What You'll Own
Facility Readiness
- Own daily facility readiness from open to close, ensuring every guest-facing and back-of-house area is safe, clean, functional, and ready for service.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of the full venue, document deficiencies, assign priorities, and follow through until each issue is resolved.
- Inspect Pure Putt, Arc Rivals courts, Battle Bats cages, the Wiffle Ball field, kitchen, bar, beer wall, restrooms, storage areas, and exterior spaces.
- Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs while minimizing disruption to guests and operations.
Preventive Maintenance
- Build and manage a preventive maintenance program for all facility systems, equipment, attractions, and guest areas.
- Maintain accurate service schedules and maintenance records for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, fire and life-safety systems, and game equipment.
- Identify recurring issues, determine the root cause, and implement lasting solutions instead of temporary fixes.
- Track equipment condition and useful life, then recommend repairs, replacements, and capital improvements before failures occur.
Repairs and Technical Support
- Complete routine repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, fixtures, walls, flooring, doors, hardware, furniture, and game equipment within the limits of your training and licensing.
- Troubleshoot equipment and building-system issues, determine whether work can be completed internally, and engage qualified vendors when needed.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, replacement parts, supplies, manuals, warranties, and service records.
- Support setup, breakdown, and facility needs for private events, tournaments, leagues, and special programming.
Safety and Compliance
- Own facility safety walkthroughs and ensure hazards are corrected or secured immediately.
- Maintain compliance with fire, building, health, accessibility, and workplace safety requirements.
- Keep required inspections, permits, certifications, and service records current and readily available.
- Ensure emergency exits, fire extinguishers, alarms, first-aid supplies, and other life-safety systems remain accessible and operational.
- Partner with venue leadership to maintain emergency response plans and train teammates on facility-related safety procedures.
Vendor and Budget Management
- Build and manage relationships with contractors, service providers, inspectors, and equipment suppliers.
- Obtain and compare bids, schedule service, oversee vendor work, and confirm that repairs meet expectations before approving completion.
- Manage the facilities and maintenance budget with a focus on reliability, safety, and long-term value.
- Review invoices, track spending, and identify opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or readiness.
- Maintain warranty information and ensure Mammoth Fieldhouse receives the full value of its service agreements.
Team and Culture
- Lead, schedule, and develop maintenance or facilities teammates as the department grows.
- Establish clear daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal maintenance standards.
- Train venue leaders and frontline teammates on proper equipment use, issue reporting, and basic facility care.
- Communicate maintenance priorities and operational impacts clearly during pre-shift huddles and leadership meetings.
- Own recognition. Celebrate teammates who protect the building, prevent problems, and leave every space better than they found it.
Data and Documentation
- Own the work-order system. Every issue has a priority, an owner, a status, and a documented resolution.
- Track response time, repair cost, equipment downtime, recurring failures, preventive maintenance completion, and vendor performance.
- Use maintenance data to identify patterns, improve reliability, and support capital-planning decisions.
- Provide regular reports to venue leadership on open work orders, safety concerns, upcoming service needs, and budget performance.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Operations to prioritize repairs around service demands, event schedules, and the guest experience.
- Work with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain equipment readiness and coordinate service without unnecessary disruption.
- Partner with Events to support room configurations, equipment needs, and special-event setups.
- Coordinate with ownership, property management, contractors, and local authorities on facility projects, inspections, and repairs.
Your First Year
- First 30 Days: You know every major building system, every piece of critical equipment, and every existing facility concern. You deliver a written assessment with immediate safety needs, repair priorities, and a preventive maintenance plan.
- First 90 Days: The work-order and preventive maintenance systems are live. Critical repairs are complete or scheduled, vendor relationships are established, documentation is current, and facility standards are visible across the building.
- First Year: Preventive maintenance is consistently completed. Equipment downtime and emergency repairs are reduced. Facility spending is on budget. The building is safe, reliable, and ready for guests every day of the week.
What You Bring
- 5 or more years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, property management, hospitality maintenance, commercial maintenance, or a related field, including 2 or more years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Broad working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems, prioritize repairs, and complete hands-on maintenance work safely and efficiently.
- Experience building or managing preventive maintenance programs and work-order systems.
- Proven success managing contractors, service vendors, maintenance budgets, and repair projects.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills. You can manage immediate repairs without losing sight of long-term facility needs.
- Clear communication and sound judgment. You can explain a technical issue in plain language and recommend a practical solution.
- Working command of computerized maintenance management, work-order, inventory, and reporting systems.
- A flexible schedule. Early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional emergency calls are part of the role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- 21 years of age or older.

- You have facilities experience in hospitality, competitive social entertainment, sports, restaurants, or event venues.
- You hold relevant HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, OSHA, or facilities-management certifications.

- You have built a preventive maintenance program that reduced downtime, repair costs, or emergency service calls.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and moving throughout the venue.
- Must be comfortable using ladders, hand tools, power tools, and appropriate personal protective equipment.
