Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager is responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance systems, managing machinery and equipment, leading facilities teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies on safety, health, loss prevention, and environmental protection.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance system for all machinery/equipment and utility services
• Provide maintenance support for production equipment/machinery and utility services to ensure compliance with Company policies on safety, health loss prevention and environmental protection
• Responsible for installation and commissioning of all equipment
• Procuring and installing new machines and equipments
• Monitor, guide and lead Facilities Technicians in all assigned and emergent tasks
• Develop improvement programs to minimize operational and maintenance cost of machinery/equipment
• Management of spare part requirements for all machinery and equipment
• Development and updating of equipment and utility standard operating procedures manual
• Responsible for maintenance budget
• Manage, monitor and control facility energy conservation

About you

• 10+ years of Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 3P methodologies; formal training or practical experience is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement practices
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
