Facilities Manager

About the role
As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of the company's properties and facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for all occupants.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management strategies to optimise operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
2. Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security
3. Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors and service providers to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed to a high standard
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
5. Manage and oversee the contract administration and budgeting for facilities-related services and projects
6. Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner
7. Continuously monitor and report on the performance and condition of the facilities, identifying areas for improvement
8. Participate in the planning and implementation of capital improvement projects

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a facilities management role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
2. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and facilities management best practices
3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
4. Proficient in the use of facilities management software and tools
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
6. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
7. Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
