Facilities Manager

Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair and operation of all offices and centers of the Organization including offices, community kitchens, cafes and retail shops.

The Manager has to look after all infrastructures to ensure all facilities including plant and equipment are functioning optimally and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as project manager in all renovation and fitting out projects
• Managing maintenance and repair
• Negotiating with suppliers and contractors
• Managing renovations and office moves
• Running routine safety inspections
• Corresponding with contractors
• Planning maintenance work
• Co-ordinating renovation and repair works
• Maintaining records
• Supervising facilities staff (if any)

Requirement:

• 8 - 10 years’ work experience in facilities management and office administration or a related role
• Knowledge on building systems, maintenance procedures, safety regulations and compliance requirements would be an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
