Facilities Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Facilities Manager to lead and oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate seamlessly, supporting continuous production and a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to facilities management, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities, fleet, and equipment. Coordinate preventive maintenance program.
• Manage facilities-related vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and implementing safety protocols across the facility.
• Manage SDS System.
• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
• Coordinate intra-office moves.
• Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations, projects, and budgets.
• Advise on and monitor efficiency and cost reduction.
• Oversee and maintain recycling program.
• Maintain security of the facility.
• Improve the effectiveness of the department; participate in departmental continuous improvement activities, evaluate, and report on departmental performance.
• Oversee storm water reporting.
• Manage scrap runs.
• Clean facilities at 96 and 110 Batson Drive.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
• Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Building and maintenance management experience.
• 3-5 years experience in construction, plumbing, and/or electrical field.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Personal skills/attributes

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
